Case Study – Roc Holiday Village

Client Brief

The City of Rochester Roc Holiday Village, presented by Five Star Bank, has been bringing Christmas magic to Rochester, New York, since 2018. For the first three weeks of December, the event invites attendees of all ages to enjoy various festive activities such as ice skating, a unique shopping village, winter igloos, live music and more.

Objective

With the strong possibility of high winds and snow during the installation of the event, the client needed a temporary structure that could withstand harsh winter environments while still fitting with the event’s unique aesthetic.

The client chose Evolution Dome US to provide them with an 8 and 10-meter dome which served as a space for the events Winter Igloo Inn’s. These domes came equipped with LED lighting and glass doors.

The Results

2022 proved to be Roc Holiday Village’s biggest year to date, with a record-breaking attendance of 140,000 people.
