CASE STUDY – The Royal International Air Tattoo

Client Brief

Attracting families from across the world each year, it was vital for The Royal International Air Tattoo  to create a fun and engaging experience for families attending sessions in the Inspire Stage. The client needed the event structures overall aesthetic to match the futuristic vision for the Inspire Stage that would not only be engaging but also reflect the themes of aerospace, engineering and the next generation of STEM.

Objective

The 24m Dome needed to house 34 sessions and hold up to 250 people at any one time over the duration of the 3 live event days. Not only did the event need to comfortably large crowds,  it needed to have AC to ensure a pleasant environment for delegates during the hot July while minimising noise pollution from the Air show outside of the structure.

The Results

The 24m offered excellent heat insulation, made a striking visual impact, and provided ample space for our audience. The client arranged benches to evoke a childlike assembly atmosphere, complemented by a large LED screen to deliver an immersive experience
