The St. Ives Carnival and Music Festival returned with a new committee and a packed schedule of events, delivering two days of celebration and community from  12 – 13 July, 2025. And, for the 9th year, Evolution Dome returned to Cambridgeshire to deliver the structure that housed the main stage featuring a content line-up of film, fun and music.

Our versatile ESP-2400 inflatable structures sat at the heart of the site, serving as a central stage for the event. This created a welcoming and professional environment for the festival’s varied programme, including performances from a host of live bands and West End stars.

When planning for a community-focused festival like St Ives, where safety, wind rating and a visually appealing structure are important factors, the ESP-2400 provides an ideal solution. They can be installed in a fraction of the time required for traditional stage covers, coupled with a 55MPH wind rating.

Ash Austin, managing director of Evolution Dome, commented, “It was great to build on our long-standing relationship with the festival and to work with the new committee. It’s a fantastic local event with a brilliant atmosphere, and it’s always rewarding to see our structures being used to help bring communities together.”

“Congratulations to the volunteer committee on organising such a wonderfully smooth and enjoyable event, and we  look forward to seeing its continued success.”
